Periquito Adventures & Travel COVID-19 Policy

Wanderful Tanzania COVID-19 Policy

Safari tourism has reopened in Tanzania. The requirements to enter the country are as simple as having a Visa and showing a negative RT-PCR test upon arrival. The Tanzanian government reserves the right to also conduct rapid tests upon arrival at various airports. Otherwise, the safari routine has returned. Periquito and Wanderful Tanzania are modifying some of the itinerary details to minimize time spent in villages or towns, and to maximize the time spent in the bush at camps and lodges instead. Protocols are in place at all of our camps and lodges with regard to sanitization, distancing, and other preventative measures. Our safari trucks are cleaned and sanitized every night, and we supply sanitizer and wipes inside the trucks for our guests use throughout the day. Masks are required in some settings, and each group will discuss mask policies as it pertains to the group, on a safari-by-safari basis. Every person who participates on a WT safari must be fully vaccinated at least 14 days prior to departure for the tour. We will also arrange for each guest to be tested prior to their homeward flights.

Thrive Souljourns COVID-19 Policy

Now more than ever we all need these Thrive Souljourns to happen! Periquito Adventures and Thrive Souljourns will continually research and obey the policies mandated by whichever state we are running a retreat or souljourn within. These policies change frequently, so to post a statement about specifics here does not make any sense. I do require all of my guests to be fully vaccinated at least 14 days prior to arriving for a TS trip, or to prove immunity from previous infection. I do this to protect the health of all participants to the greatest extent possible. We will do our best to form our own pod upon arrival for the tour, and will practice sanitization, masking, and other Covid protocols as deemed necessary to keep everyone as safe as we can.
